From humble beginnings in the days of fibreglass swords, the art of defence has progressed in the Barony. Tonight’s practice saw ten participants, more than half of them still new to the sport and not yet authorised. Youth and beginner rapier practice is held every Monday at Kraken Hall from 7.30 to 9.30pm, run by Perran, Declan and whoever else is available to teach.
