Warmest greetings unto you all, It was but a short time ago we enjoyed the good company, food and drink at the Board and Bardic Brawl, thank you to all those who were able to attend you made our last night as your B&B truly special.
During the evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming two Newcomers we hope they enjoyed their time with us and look forward to seeing them again in the future. Throughout the evening, we heard many accomplished bards perform and we had the very special privilege of recognising two of Ynys Fawr’s greatest bards, Baron Hrolf Herjolfssen and Baron Karl Faustus von Aachen as the very first recipients of the Sable Lark. The Order of the Sable Lark recognises hose good gentles who have greatly enriched our Barony through entertainment.
Be it Poetry, Singing, Playing an Instrument or Storytelling.
The Ynys Fawr Baronial Investiture fast approaches and we look forward to the arrival of Their Majesty’s King Aonghus and Queen Ginevra, where we will say our farewell and then all bare witness as their Majesty’s install our Lord and Lady of Ynys Fawr as the next Baron and Baroness of our beloved Barony.
It is for this reason that We encourage the populace recommend those good gentles worthy of recognition be put forward for their deeds and achievements so that they may be given their just due. Please let the Crown know!
Yours in service,
David & Arabella
Baron & Baroness of Ynys Fawr
