Greetings, populace!
It has been a busy month for the Barony, with both our Wintersouth event and our demo at the Huon Valley Medieval Faire.
At both events, we were delighted by the wonderful level of engagement from the wider population of the southern regions of Ynys Fawr. To those who have begun their journey into the SCA dream as a result, we bid you a very warm welcome. We look forward to seeing you all again in the not-too-distant future and sharing more of what our Society has to offer.
Sybil and I will shortly be travelling to the Barony of Stormhold to celebrate the elevation of those who will soon become our Cousins, and to join in celebrating the remarkable service of Their Excellencies as they prepare to step down.
We wish our soon-to-be Cousins every joy as they take up the mantle of their Barony, and Their Excellencies our gratitude and very best wishes as they conclude their time in office.
Remember to get your bookings in for our upcoming Newcomers event in September and the Taverne du Sanglier Noir in December. Booking early not only helps our stewarding teams with their planning, but is also a visible show of appreciation for the considerable time and effort they put into creating these events for us all.
