David and Arabella, January/February 2026

Warm greetings unto the good peoples of Ynys Fawr,

We have had a beautiful start to the year with a very well-run workshop, the Pride March and progress has been made with the Baronial succession. We extend our deepest gratitude to Sir Mari and Master Yevan who did teach at the Point of Improvement event. We would also thank those who attended, it was a weekend of learning, and His Excellency especially enjoyed being authorised for Rapier Spear, his freestyle bouts with Master Yevan and learning how to pattern a coat with Sir Mari, that allowed for full a full range movement, just what every combatant would want. We wish to pay a special thanks to our steward Sir Wulfgar for organising this great event and to the Lady Aeaf for seeing that we were fed over the two days.

Her Excellency took great joy in attending the Pride March alongside many kind gentles last Saturday. The enthusiasm and welcoming reception from the pride community was truly inspiring. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who supported this event, affirming that this barony is inclusive and open to all. We offer sincere appreciation to Mistress Drusticc, whose leadership, rallying spirit, and coordination of the display made the day fly by with ease.

This weekend, Her Excellency will be raising war over the High Tide mark in Stormhold. We wish her and all of those who fight for our honour good fortune upon the battlefield.

Last but certainly not least, the commentary for the Baronial succession process is now closed. We thank all those who sent in words, and trust that Crown is now armed to make an informed decision, we can but await Their decree and look forward to this next chapter.

Yours in service,

David and Arabella
